Creativity, connection, and confidence in action!

We were thrilled to welcome Bathurst-based mural artist Calum Hotham to Skillset Senior College last term. Not just as a visiting artist, but as part of our team! Calum joins us as a Student Learning Support Officer, bringing his passion for supporting young people and his extraordinary talent for large-scale street art.

With a portfolio that includes work for Netflix, Uber Eats, Drink West, the NRL’s Indigenous Round, and more, Calum is known for his emotionally powerful murals and his ability to connect through art. Specialising in realism using aerosol and acrylic paint, his bold style is already making waves here at SSC.

Recently, Calum ran a spray painting workshop with our students, helping them create a vibrant and fun mural and their response was electric! Students were energised, focused, and proud to be part of something creative and lasting.

At SSC, we believe in learning that engages the whole person. Calum’s workshops are more than just art, they’re a space for self-expression, confidence-building, and shared joy.
