It’s OK to ask for help… Reach Out!
The holiday season can be a time of celebration, connection, and rest. For some, however, it can also bring added pressure, loneliness, grief, or big emotions that feel harder to manage at this time of year.
At Skillset Senior College, we want our students, families, and community to know that support is always available. If you or someone you care about is feeling overwhelmed, struggling with mental health, or just needs someone to talk to, you do not have to face it alone.
There are free, confidential support services available over the holiday period and throughout the year. These services are there to listen, provide guidance, and offer help when you need it most.
Below is a list of trusted mental health and wellbeing supports for young people, adults, and families. Whether you are seeking immediate support or simply need a safe space to talk, we encourage you to reach out.
If you are ever in immediate danger or need urgent help, please call 000.
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength, and help is always available.
Please take gentle care of yourself and those around you during the holiday season and beyond.
